Bruce Prescott has dedicated his career to building a premier middle market/institutional team serving the needs of many of our firm’s most significant clients. While he began more than 32 years ago through the traditional retail system at Shearson American Express, he was early to recognize the emergence of Hedge Funds as an important growth segment of our industry. In the 1980s he converted his full efforts to the needs of this underserved community.

In 2000 Bruce became a founding member of the Institutional Investor Group where he was a member of the advisory board. During his IIG tenure he built the largest middle markets group within the firm and arguably the industry. In addition, Bruce’s team co-covered and worked on dozens of accounts with other non-specialist FAs. Bruce was appointed Managing Director in 2002 and on several occasions has been recognized as the top producer within Citi Smith Barney and its predecessors.

Bruce is one of Morgan Stanley’s and its predecessor firms most successful Financial Advisors having achieved #1 producer status multiple times. In fact, in 2007 he was independently ranked as the largest producer in all categories across all firms. Equally as important, he has also been repeatedly recognized by the Research Analyst community for exceptional client service and dedication. Since 2016, Bruce has been a local real estate investor doing deals in multiple asset classes. Bruce received his BA with distinction from the University of Rhode Island. He currently resides in New York City and Jupiter, FL with his wife Jackie.
