Galvanize Climate Solutions, a climate-focused global investment firm, appointed Alex Munoz as VP of asset management for the firm’s sustainable real estate investment strategy. Based in New York City, Munoz will be responsible for improving cash flow and increasing value of the real estate investments through capital investment and sustainability initiatives.
Before joining Galvanize, Munoz was a principal at GI Partners, where he oversaw Northeast real estate investments in life sciences and data centers, which included redevelopment, asset repositioning, capital deployment, and strategic leasing.
Munoz brings over a decade of commercial real estate asset management experience, having worked for some of the largest global institutional platforms including Goldman Sachs and PGIM Real Estate. He has covered a wide array of property types across various US markets and was responsible for executing business plans across the spectrum including core to value-add and opportunistic investment strategies.
