A hub for Asian cuisine is emerging on a Beacon Street block in Brookline, spurred by the arrival of H Mart, an Asian grocery store, last year. Boston Business Journal Reported.
Among the upcoming eateries is Kyo Matcha, known for sweets, expanding beyond its Washington and Baltimore locations. Additionally, Kyuramen, a ramen restaurant, is making its regional debut. Other tenants include Sushi Jiro, Rice Roll HK Cafe, Baby Cafe, and Mini Punjab, transforming a renovated space formerly occupied by O’Leary’s pub, Dunkin’, and Sichuan Gourmet.
The newcomers complement existing tenants like Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ and TBaar bubble tea shop.
