  • Alan Peterson III has joined American Healthcare REIT, Inc. as VP of investor relations and finance. He is responsible for leading the Irvine-based company’s investor relations efforts and various strategic initiatives. Before joining American Healthcare REIT, Peterson was an equity research analyst on the residential research team at Green Street, where he played an integral role in the coverage of roughly 15 publicly traded real estate companies.
  • San Francisco-based Juniper Square, a provider of partnership enablement to the private funds industry, promoted Brandon Sedloff to chief real estate officer. In his new role, Sedloff will drive Juniper Square’s strategy for expanding its fund administration business among real estate investment managers.
  • Derrick Grüner joined Westlake Village-based Realworld Asset Group as chief capital markets officer & general counsel. With a career spanning more than a decade in various high-impact positions, including general counsel, chief legal officer, COO and CIO, Grüner has been pivotal in securing upwards of $250 million in new capital throughout 2021 and 2022.
  • Steinberg Hart, an international architecture and design firm based in Los Angeles, appointed industry veteran Kelly Fehr as global business development leader and associate principal. Fehr will draw on her prior experience working inside firms including SOM, HOK, and SmithGroup.
  • Pankow Builders promoted Mike Trim to regional VP, with oversight of the Northern California region. Previously serving as director of operations, Trim has played an integral role in the success of numerous projects.
  • The National Association of Home Builders inducted Manny Gonzalez, FAIA into the Hall of Fame at the Best in American Living Awards ceremony during the International Builders’ Show, Feb. 28 in Las Vegas. Established in 2008, the Hall of Fame program honors thought leaders in the housing industry who have significantly influenced residential design and construction. Gonzalez, the founder and president of Lifestyle Design Consulting, LLC, established this consulting practice after parting ways with KTGY, where he spent nearly 22 years overseeing the design, land planning, and production of various residential developments throughout the U.S.
  • Zacua Ventures, a San Francisco-based global venture capital fund focused on early-stage technology for the construction industry, closed its inaugural fund, exceeding the $50-million target by more than 10%. In conjunction with the fund close, Zacua also announced that it recently led a $9-million seed round for data infrastructure startup Flexnode.
