Group P6 to Build 210 Aventura Apartment Units

Group P6 paid $16.07 million for a property just west of the Aventura Mall that’s slated for a mixed-use project. Centennial Bank provided a $2.5 million mortgage to the buyer. The S. Florida Business Journal reports that the property, located in the Ojus Urban District, was assembled for deals of $615,000 in 2003 and $3.6 million in 2016.

Star Holdings Management, the seller of the parcel, filed plans with the county to develop this site with the Gateway. The project would total 645,941 square feet in 18 stories, with 210 apartments, 107,000 square feet of offices, 18,250 square feet of retail and 468 parking spaces.

On its website, Group P6 touts that the project will comprise 210 luxury rental apartments and a best-in-class membership health and athletic club, including indoor paddle and pickleball courts. Group P6 is known for building condos in Boca Raton.

The Brightline rail station serving Aventura is just to the south of this location.
