Miami Hotel Owners Planning Hotel-to-Apartments Conversion

The owners of a Sweetwater hotel are hoping to convert half of its 368 hotel rooms into apartments. Additionally, they want to build a dozen padel courts across the street from the current hotel at 1750NW 107th Ave. in Miami. Kheeyami Group LLC and One SP are behind the effort to talk Sweetwater City Commissioners into approving the plan. The town is expected to vote on the measure this week.

The S. Florida Business Journal reports the the hotel completed, The NuVo Suites Hotel was completed in 2008. It’s a nine-story extended-stay hotel 9 miles west of Miami International Airport.

Kheeyami group is headed up by Doron Marom and Chen Nagid.  Marom heads up Regional One, a purchaser, lessor, and seller of aircraft, aircraft parts, engines and engine parts, offering worldwide support to regional and commercial aircraft operators in S. Florida. Nagid is in the real estate business.
