Site Centers Corp. sold the Fountains shopping center in Plantation for $70 million. Pine Tree purchased the 438,000-square-foot center, along with five others in four states, for $495 million.
The Fountains is on a 33.5-acre site halfway between Interstate 95 and Broward Boulevard. The main building was constructed in 1988. Tenants in the Fountains include Kohl’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Joann Fabrics, Marshalls, TooJay’s Deli, Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park, Stromboli Pizza, Ideal Image, Firehouse Subs, Total Wine & More, Olive Garden, Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, Dollar Tree, Five Guys, and Hoffman’s Chocolates.
Pine Tree has $3 billion in retail assets under management.
