Trying to link the marketing of an upscale condo or apartment community to a luxury car brand is catching on. Yesterday, ConnectCRE reported that Mercedes-Benz is joining forces with JDS on a 67-story residential project in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami.
Dezer Development has broken ground on a Sunny Isles Beach condo that’s the first branded residences for Bentley Motors. Dezer also has completed a Porsche-branded development.
Bentley Residences Miami will rise 62 stories at 18401 Collins Ave., a 2.37-acre site on the beach. The 216-unit project will have units that face the Intercoastal Waterway as well as the Atlantic Ocean. Sizes of the units range from 5,500 square feet to 24,000 square feet with prices topping out at $70 million a unit.
Each balcony will have at least 1,500 square feet of space, including a built-in pool, summer kitchen and enough space for an outdoor living room.
Dezer said the construction budget of the Bentley Residences is about $800 million.
Miami-based Sieger Suarez Architects designed the project. Miami-based Coastal Construction is the general contractor.
The project should be completed in 2027.
