$170M Orlando Resort Adding Water Park

The group behind the Visions Resort and Spa Orlando has purchased fifteen adjacent acres to add to its already robust offering. The Orlando Business Journal reports Urban Network Capital and Vertical Developments plans to use the property for a water park to go with the other attractions that make up the $170 million mixed-use resort project near Disney.

The project is being developed in phases:

The expectation is to begin vertical construction on the project’s 132 townhomes and 48 single-family homes, as well as the resort’s 10,000-square-foot clubhouse, later this spring, with the anticipation of completion in the fourth quarter of 2024.

After work concludes on those phases, work will begin on Phase III — the project’s 181-unit condo-hotel.

Work on Phase IV, a mixed-use project with 380 vacation loft units above 70,736 square feet of retail space and a parking garage will follow.

Concepto Taller de Arquitectura is working on the project design.
