Neal Development and Guardian Properties are seeking permission to knock down a small building with 13 apartments and build a 10-story apartment building with 70 in Hollywood. The city’s Technical Advisory Committee will consider plans later this month. The Dixiana Apartments would be situated just west of Federal Highway. The property is less than half an acre. The two developers purchased the site for $2.2 million in July. They hope to break ground by year end.
Under the plans, the project would total 63,055 square feet, with 89 parking spaces. There would be a pool deck on the sixth floor and 1,317 square feet of indoor amenities, including a fitness center.
Units in the Dixiana Apartments would range from 470 to 973 square feet. There would be 18 studio apartments, 33 one-bedroom units, 12 one-bedroom units with dens, and nine two-bedroom unit.
Hollywood-based Kaller Architecture designed the project.
