citizenM’s new 168-room hotel in Miami South Beach will have a rooftop pool, bar and terrace. The property joins other citizenM hotels in the market, including Miami Brickell and Miami Worldcenter.
citizenM is a Netherlands-based hospitality company. The new hotel, to be built at 1212 Lincoln Road, is slated for a summer 2024 opening. Miami-based architecture firm Gensler is working on the designs established by citizenM’s go-to architecture agency, concrete Amsterdam, headquartered in Amsterdam. Local construction company Americaribe will serve as citzenM’s general contractor.
The Miami Beach hotel will be equipped with a 24-hour restaurant, gym, outdoor terrace, art display, rooftop infinity pool, and bar.
citizenM currently has 33 hotels in 20 cities around the world. Its current expansion plan aims to bring the brand’s total number of hotels to 36 by 2024 with accommodations in Europe, North America and Asia.
